I have just added 30 more assessment items to the Secondary Mathematics
Assessment (and Resource) Database, aka as SMARD.

Please visit, and take away some assessment. The URL is:
http://cq-pan.cqu.edu.au/schools/smad/smad.html

The assessment is stored in Word 6.0 format, which is readable both in
Windows and Mac environments. The new assessment includes:
Greed! an activity to introduce probability concepts
Dice Difference an excellent probability assignment
Cross the River an introduction to algebra based on a well-known
puzzle. Starts with pattern searching, and ends
with Diophantine Equations!
Four exams teachers have asked to see senior exams in their
entirety, rather than just individual questions.
Here are 4 complete exams from Year 12 Maths C
Integer Magic two great activities to reinforce integer addition
Efficiency Ratio an assignment where students compare the 'efficiency'
(ie volume:surface area)of a tin can to that of an egg.

And lots more. See you there!

Cheers
