You might want to check out the paper "Y2K: Education's Greatest Challenge" at
... David Thornburg's website, brought to my attention
by Pat Hosken.

Thornburg gave me permission to print copies of the paper for my classes,
but not
to send an e-file to my list people.

However, you are free to print a copy of the paper from the website and can
provide
links to the website as an on-line reference for anyone wishing to download
an additional
copy(ies).
