The Next Geometry PoW (September 16)

The next Geometry Problem of the Week, "Points, Lines, and Planes" is
available for preview. It will "live" on Monday.
NOTE: The current Geometry PoW will stop accepting submissions SUNDAY
NIGHT at midnight Eastern time. This is a change from years past,
when we accepted submissions until Monday night at midnight. Since
the problems are now live for two weeks, we don't feel that the extra
day is necessary. You can see the calendar for the problem using the
Calendar link from the mail Geometry PoW page.
To go along with this problem, we've written (okay, my buddy Suzanne
wrote) a Teacher Support page which you can find at
http://mathforum.org/pow/support/geopow/rectangles.teacher.html
Our hope is to provide these pages for future problems as well. You
can see all of our Teacher Support pages at

Annie Fetter is primarily responsible for the Geometry and Algebra
Problems of the Week. She writes most of those problems and is
currently doing a lot of the mentoring, but is developing materials to
train other mentors so that they can share the fun.
