4th-6th grade implementation

Our District has just adopted Investigations and Connections as its math program. I teach in a small rural school. I have two 4th graders, three 5th graders, and four 6th graders. Has anyone taught in a situation like this and how did the program work for you? Do any of you have suggestions as how to implement this program for each grade, covering the materials for each grade, in a manner that won't take three hours per day? How do you facilitate the discussions that are to take place with such a limited number of students? How do you work in 10 Minute Math for three grades?
How much time do you spend preparing for each day's lesson? It takes me between 45-60 minutes to read the teachers edition and prepare materials for each grade. Is this what others have found?
Thanks for the input.
