|A system for computational discrete algebra with particular emphasis on, but not restricted to computational group theory. GAP and its sources, including share packages, data library and a manual, are distributed freely, subject to conditions detailed on the GAP Web pages). It runs on Unix, DOS, and Macintosh. Development of GAP was started at Lehrstuhl D für Mathematik, RWTH Aachen in 1986; it is now at St. Andrews and 3 other mirror sites. The site includes a bibliography and a key word index.|
