Heavenly Mathematics: Highlights of Cultural Astronomy

|An interdisciplinary course that begins by discussing the relative motion of the Sun, Earth, and Moon, and follows with other fundamental concepts of astronomy. Course content includes astronomy, astrology, calendars (Gregorian, Chinese, Islamic, Indian), navigation, astronomy in nature, the equation of time, cartography, ancient astronomical instruments, and archaeoastronomy.|
