A middle school mathematics module using real-time weather data and current environmental issues to promote the learning of significant mathematics, consistent with the NCTM Standards. It can be used to draw connections to mathematical concepts in data analysis, graphing, number and number relations, patterns and functions, and statistics and measurement. 15 activities, including: Matters of Scale, Central Tendency, and Data Representation & Change.|
