Back to NCTM San Diego: Interdisciplinary Math

This is the summary of a presentation given at the 74th Annual NCTM Meeting, 25-28 April 1996, San Diego, CA.

Connections between Math, the Big Bang, Evolution and Theology have been featured in headlines world wide in recent years. Beginning with Einstein's equations that describe the Big Bang, this presentation examines several surprising mathematical connections in cosmology this century, most of which have implications for Theology and Evolution.
