Leadership for Urban Mathematics Reform Project

NSF-funded project supports efforts in 6 cities of teams of grades 5 - 12 mathematics teachers to address systemic change through ongoing investigations into the nature of algebraic thinking. Classroom experiments and the analysis of student work are central to the efforts of the teacher teams and will be central to this presentation.
