The Process of Change: Teacher Education in Mathematics

As mathematics educators, the presentors have conducted in-depth qualitative research studies of students of teaching in math methods courses. In this session they will present their research, share themes, and cite examples of the student learning process. A discussion will follow to discuss implications for the design of more constructivist mathematics teacher education courses and their potential impact on elementary classroom practices.
