Hello World

This is how I look when I'm thinking.
This is how I look when I'm thinking.
Hi!

About Me

I am rising sophomore at Swarthmore College and I am working on the Math Images Project in the summer of 2012. I am going to be a math major, and maybe a physics major or minor. I'll get to math in the next paragraph. My other interests include strategy games, long-distance running, and music. I listen to classical, heavy/progressive metal, electronic/ambient, and like five alt rock bands. U2 is the best ever! And I try to play piano. Other than that, I can relate every situation to a Seinfeld episode, and my other favorite shows are Arrested Development and Star Trek: DS9.

In terms of math, I suppose I've always loved math. Earlier in my youth, when I was a young wippersnapper, I wanted to do physics. But college has taught me the amazingness of pure math. As a result of a linear algebra class, I am really interested in algebra and related topics. I really want to make a page helping people with proving trig identities. I think understanding how to manipulate those expressions algebraically would be beneficial to a student's mathematical thinking as a whole. But I really love all math and the articles that I write will be about varied topics.

Dont' look at this thing here. It's top secret!

You looked!! Now I know what kind of a person you are. :()

Bad Jokes that I like

  • Why did the scarecrow get a promotion? Because he was outstanding in his field.
  • Why did the chicken go to the seafood store? For the halibut.
  • I knew this alcohol-drinking chicken who liked magic. He could do some ginny hen tricks.
  • Who wants to go to the orchestra? Let's have a Chopins. (Curtesy of my dad).
  • Does February march? No but April may.

This is a work in progress.

My Pages

  • I'm now basically done the Hamiltonian Path page. Please give me feedback, because nothing anyone does is perfect!
  • Also starting the Graph Theory page. This page is for the elementary concepts of the field. Give me feedback!!!
  • I started an Equivalence Relation helper page.
  • Revamping Induction helper page
