Welcome to MathMagic on the Web!

MathMagic was a K-12 telecommunications project developed in El Paso, Texas by Alan A. Hodson, Carolynn S. Mortensen, and Carol Hooper. The intent of the project was to provide motivation for students to use computer technology while increasing problem-solving strategies and communications skills. MathMagic posted challenges in each of four categories (k-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12) which are now archived and available to view in plain text or download in MS Word file format.

Each grade band directory has links to plain text files that can be viewed online (or downloaded) and to MS Word documents that can be downloaded.
