| Description: |
This activity encourages students to gain experience with the language of the Cartesian coordinate system. Each of the problems shows two points, z and w. Point z can be dragged, and point w moves in response. In describing the rule that governs the location of point w, students of Algebra I can use language involving the coordinates, students of Geometry can use the language of transformations, and students of Algebra II or Precalculus can use the language of the complex plane. |
