Review based on: Found MathTools through Suzanne, I am using it to explore educational game concepts. |
Appropriate for: introduction to a concept, applications of a concept or technique, advanced investigations |
Other Comments: I thought it was a good idea for an interesting sandbox probability enviroment, but that the defined activity to do in this sandbox is not cleary defined. |
What math does one need to know to use the resource? I feel that to completely understand the activity you would need a good grasp of Probability and Statistics, but the activity is a good illustration of the concept of chance. |
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource? The ability to operate a mouse. |
What extra things must be done to make it work? Have a reasonably updated web browser with a Flash Player installed. |
How hard was it for you to learn? Easy |
Explanation: Overall a simple to operate tool, with a good set of operations. |
Ability to meet my goals: Neutral |
Recommended for: Probability & Statistics: Samples and Experiments, Probability |
Activity: Airstrike Review
