Review based on:
personal experience
Appropriate for:
practice of skills and understandings
Other Comments:
After learning what a factorization of a number is, this would be a great practice tool. Many students struggle with coming up with these pairs, as well as making them on a grid -- this tool allows you to do both!
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
Students need to know what "factorization" means, they need to know how to do so, and how to build the factorizations.
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
Clicking of the mouse, how to drag and pull to build the factorizations, and typing in the factorizations.
How hard was it for you to learn?
Easy
Explanation:
This is an easy tool to navigate through, however it did take a couple of tries to learn how to build the rectangles (drag and pull).
Ability to meet my goals:
Effective
