What did students learn?
I showed students the tool briefly in class, after discussing Venn diagrams and symbols associated with set manipulation. I posted a link to the tool from my course web page.
What did students do with the resource?
At least one student used the tool at home to practice ideas about set combinations.
How hard was it for students to use?
Very Easy
Appropriate for:
practice of skills and understandings, applications of a concept or technique
What math does one need to know to use the resource?
Symbols of set manipulation (union, intersection, difference, complement).
What hardware expertise does one need to learn to use the resource?
None.
What extra things must be done to make it work?
Nothing.
How hard was it for you to learn?
Very Easy
Explanation:
No problem... only improvement I would suggest would be a less drastic "erase" button ("Clear" erases everything).
