constructions. If the students are seated in the back of the room, they will
not be able to see the lines if they are very thin. Also, the instructor will
not be able to drag the object if he/she can't find the point to drag with their
finger. For example, the instructor might have a sketch of a triangle with an
altitude. Then the instructor can drag the triangle creating acute, right and
obtuse triangles, and the students can the conjecture about the location of the
altitude. The larger point just allows for a more fluid display. You are
right, this forum is to help people who are trying to use technology in their
classrooms, and hopefully, my suggestion from the previous post will be helpful
to some.
