Subject:   Advantages of interactive Graphs
Author: Aldana
Date: Jun 26 2006
When presenting an interactive graph of two lines that represent displacement of
two objects (runner) as time changes will open to discussion and to the
presentation of the following topics:
- Rate of change, slope and uniform velocity
- How does velocity (slow or fast) relates to the steepness of the lines?
- When you have interaction of two objects (runners) you can talk about things
in common such as time an distance from a given point for both objects.
- It is easier to picture a system of equations.
- Changing parameters in a software tool saves time and it will give
the student several options to go into and grab concepts deeper.
