If you are using Windows, the PrintScreen key saves the whole screen to the
clipboard, and Alt-PrntScrn (same key with the alt key pressed at the same
time) saves the active window. Often resizing and re-positioning the window
will pick out pretty much what you need, and a bit of cropping does not unduly
reduce the resolution of the image.
