Teachers can help students build a flexible understanding of fractions through the use of multiple models and easy-to-use features such as hide/show models and linking models to procedures. Use this tool to help students build conceptual understanding of fractions by linking visual models to numeric representations. Students learn about equal shares (denominators) and shaded parts (numerators) with models that include pies, vertical bars, horizontal bars, area model, and set (discrete) model.
