Reflection on Practice Class: Day 8

Aki continued to talk about our task: Change a typical textbook problem into an interesting problem with multiple solution methods. Each group had to prepare a poster. The meaning of our poster is to create some open ended problems for our students.

Each poster should include:

  1. The original problem
  2. Your open ended problem
    1. One solution with multiple solution methods (multiple paths) or
    2. Multiple solutions - multiple answers
  3. Anticipating students' responses
  4. The purpose of using the problem
