Teaching Mathematics with the Problems of the Week This course is designed for current subscribers of the Problem of the Week who want to make the most of their membership. Course activities include submitting your own answers to and analyzing math in the Math Fundamentals Problem of the Week (FunPoW), guiding your students through the solution and submission process, and sharing ideas and reflections with classmates. view Syllabus or download as: PDF file
Who: Current subscribers of FunPoW or the Pre-Algebra Problem of the Week (PreAlgPoW) who want to implement problem solving more effectively. Users of the Algebra Problem of the Week (AlgPoW) and the Geometry Problem of the Week (GeoPoW) are also welcome, although the content will be at the Math Fundamentals level. Participation requires membership at the Class level or higher. Non-members or Individual Teacher members may purchase the necessary access at a discounted rate. When:
Credit: All individuals who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate indicating that they have completed 15 hours of professional development.
