This next site provides a calculator for finding values to be used in
the patterns.  For example you provide some of the values and the
calculators finds the others:

number of faces
(4, 6, 8, 12 or 20)    
length of edge =  units 
surface area =  square units 
volume =  cubic units 
in-diameter =  units 
circum-diameter =  units
