Dear Nancy, The person that I would recommend you contact would be Cynthia Lanius. She runs a program called GirlTECH which is a teacher training and student council program that encourages young women to pursue careers in mathematics and science, offering intensive technology training to explore innovative teaching strategies for gender equity in the classroom. Her site is here and you will find an email link to her at the bottom of the page: GirlTECH - Cynthia Lanius; Center for Research on Parallel Computation (CRPC) http://www.crpc.rice.edu/CRPC/Women/GirlTECH/ -Suzanne A., for the Teacher2Teacher service
