Dear Malini 


You said you will be teaching  addition and subtraction and are at a
loss as to how you are going to get the message across without making
it too simple for the fast ones. 

  Both Tim and Claudia have said that games with dice would be a good
way to teach both addition and subtraction. I agree with them on this
and think you look at the "DotMath for kids" web site.  It is a system
to teach math with dice.  You can get "The Fun Book" charts for free
 from the site.   You can find the site with google.
