From: tim stamets <tstamets2ttsd.k12.or.us> To: Teacher2Teacher Public Discussion Date: 2000020821:55:47 Subject: matrices I did a project once, where we set up a tournament using matrices. we entered the rows as teams A,B,c,d and the columns as the same and kept track of wins and losses with 0'a and 1's. The first inverse of the matrix was the order of finish of the tornament. i think my recollections are too sketchy but the UCSMP Alg 2 book discussed it somewhere. i will check furthur if this sounds like a worthy project. Tim
