Subject: Re: Symmetry

Your question and Claudia's answer gave me another idea. Using pattern block make a figure. Using spaghetti move the spaghetti horizontally, vertically or obliquely over the figure looking for bi-lateral symmetry. Make a mark on the spaghetti as an origin. Using the marked piece of spaghetti move it over the figure looking for a place where the figure lies at equidistant from the marked point. This is a difficult one to see so perhaps it will not be a good use. -Marielouise, for the Teacher2Teacher service
