Subject: Misconceptions and developing understanding

I am looking for recent articles in the area of common student misconceptions 
of mathematics at the middle school level and I am looking for articles on how 
to best develop student understanding of mathematics at the middle school 
level.  These articles can also include how to develop student understanding 
using manipulatives and technology.
