 BreakThrough: The Changing Face of Science in America
- The Breakthrough TV series is part of an education and outreach
campaign, which also includes a website, a radio series in Spanish, phone
access: 1-800-BIG BREAK, and Science Career Exploration Kits. An extensive website for Breakthrough has been launched as a companion to the PBS series. Internet resources include a classroom activity guide, and a searchable database of science education resources.

- Washington MESA (Mathematics, Engineering and Science Achievement)
- A program designed to increase the numbers of African American, Hispanic, American Indian, and woman students in mathematics, engineering, and science careers.
