 		These lessons are designed to engage young children in a series of activities where they measure and describe the attributes of integer bars.

Each activity is aligned to the NCTM Standards, Grades K-2: Measurement and to the Philadelphia Mathematics Content Standards #2.2 and 2.3.

Each of the lessons has been designed to include four types of activities:
  1. interactive, manipulative-based projects
  2. technology
  3. paper/pencil practice
  4. literature connections
