E-mail: dmiller@pcnet.comDenise Miller teaches mathematics at Cheshire High School in Cheshire, CT: Integrated Math (a CBIA NSF pilot project involving training at Wesleyan University during 1-2 weeks in summer and 6 Saturdays during the school year), Geometry (Michael Serra's Discovering Geometry , MIRA math, with SketchPad for 3 years and recently Cabri) and until a couple of years ago Precalculus (she participated in NCSSM's Calculus/Precalculus Lead Teacher program). She has also attended the Graphing Calculator Enhanced Algebra Project at Interlochen, Michigan. She keeps a hand in all areas and levels of math content, and has been creating programs and integrating technology for about 8 years. She is active on LabNet, an online community of math and science teachers promoting project-based learning and the NCTM Standards, and presented LabNet at the '96 Educational Summit at Palisades, NY in March '96. She is interested in CUSee-Me and hopes to learn how to use NIH and digital imaging this summer.
