Cut out and use the digits and symbols to make math expressions that equal the numbers from 1 to 100. Example: ((2 * 0) - 1) + 2.
2012 Manipulatives
Rules of the Game: Use only the digits 2, 0, 1, and 2, in any order*, with the operations +, -, x, ÷, ^(raised to a power), sqrt(square root), and !(factorial), to write expressions for the counting numbers 1 through 100. Grouping symbols may also be used, and multi-digit numbers such as 20, 210, .02 may be used this year. Write your answers without using equal signs.
Correct format: (2 * 0) - 1 + 2.
Incorrect format: 2 * 0 = 0 - 1 = -1 + 2 = 1

*The order 2, 0, 1, 2 is preferred.
